They are regularly tested in our own test laboratory as well as by independent institutes (e.g. TÜV) beyond the currently required standards and guidelines.

5-year guarantee


With this in mind, PUKY offers a 5-year guarantee on frames, forks and handlebars for all vehicles.
The warranty is not personalised. It is transferable and can also be claimed by second or third party purchasers in the event of defects in workmanship or material. 4 weeks after purchasing the vehicle, the purchaser must register (online) in order to activate the warranty for the first time.

Frequently asked questions about the guarantee

The warranty period begins from the date of the valid proof of purchase (purchase receipt).
It's very simple: you register your vehicle under Warranty registration. Shortly after registration, a warranty number will be sent to you by e-mail. You should make a note of this number on the proof of purchase and keep it for any warranty claims.
No, the warranty is product- and not person-related. After activation of the warranty, which must take place within the first 4 weeks after purchase, the buyer receives a warranty number by e-mail. This number can then be passed on to the buyer together with the proof of purchase when the vehicle is sold. In order to maintain the warranty claim during the warranty period, the subsequent buyer must also register online under his name and with the warranty number belonging to the vehicle.
The warranty covers the repair or replacement of a defective frame, fork or handlebar. It does not include labour costs for assembly work or the replacement of add-on parts.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, defects, malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, negligence, improper assembly or maintenance or the installation of third-party parts.

We (PUKY GmbH & Co. KG, Fortunastraße 11, 42489 Wülfrath) provide private end consumers with a 5-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase on all PUKY frames, handlebars, and forks for breakage and deformation damages due to processing or material defects. End consumers who use the products in connection with their professional activities, such as kindergartens, are therefore excluded from the warranty.

This warranty applies worldwide and to all PUKY vehicles. The warranty is expressly limited to the free repair or free delivery of an equivalent frame, fork, or handlebar. The installation and removal of the aforementioned parts are not covered by the warranty. Whether a repair or an equivalent replacement is carried out is at PUKY's sole discretion. PUKY reserves the right to replace components in a different color design than the original. The warranty is neither extended nor renewed by the aforementioned service. PUKY acquires ownership of any parts that are replaced or exchanged.

The warranty is transferable and is product-related, not person-related. To activate the warranty for the first time, private end consumers must register on the PUKY website (www.puky.de) within 4 weeks of purchasing the PUKY vehicle. After registration, the private end consumer will receive a warranty number via email. Within the warranty period, the private end consumer must register their warranty claims with the PUKY specialist dealer (see purchase receipt) by presenting a copy of the purchase receipt or the warranty number sent by PUKY. If this is not possible for the private end consumer (e.g., due to relocation, business closure, etc.), the claim can also be made directly to PUKY (PUKY GmbH & Co. KG, Fortunastraße 11, 42489 Wülfrath). Shipping costs incurred in sending the products to PUKY for warranty claims are borne by the private end consumer. This does not apply if the private end consumer also has statutory warranty claims, on the occasion of which products are sent to PUKY.

Excluded from the warranty are damages resulting from normal wear and tear. This warranty also does not cover damages resulting from improper or non-intended use, such as neglect (lack of care and maintenance), accidents, overloading, as well as modifications to the frame or fork or the attachment and conversion of additional components. The warranty does not cover the replacement of direct or indirect consequential damages.

The customer's statutory rights remain unaffected by this warranty. The warranty exists alongside the statutory claims for the delivery of defect-free goods against the seller and does not limit the statutory defect claims. The assertion of these statutory rights is free of charge for the customer.
