The vintage balance bike LR XL BR Classic convinces with an extra low frame entry and a footboard to put their feet down while riding. A further highlight of the balance bike is the shatterproof handlebar basket made of flexible plastic, as well as the brown handlebar grips and saddle, which harmonise perfectly with the frame colours retro blue and retro pink. This makes the PUKY LR XL BR Classic to an absolute eye-catcher on the playground. Ball bearing spoked wheels with 12.5 inch air tyres doesn't just look cool, but also ensures optimal rolling characteristics on any surface. This PUKY balance bike comes standard with a matching coloured rotating ring bell, side stand and the PUKY handlebar padding and is suitable for children from 3 years and a size of 95 cm. Comfort and optimum handling are also key advantages of pneumatic tyres, which can also be adapted to children's personal preferences by changing the air pressure. The LR XL BR Classic is the perfect choice for anyone who prioritises optimum performance over low maintenance! The LR XL BR Classic uses very large-volume 2’ pneumatic tyres. This guarantees maximum grip and comfort, especially for older children.
The V-brake on the rear wheel of the LR XL BR CLASSIC is a good alternative for older and heavier children. Although less experienced riders will initially have the odd drift due to the high braking effect, children of this age are quicker to judge the high braking effect. However, we only install this type of brake on the rear wheel. In the event of sudden emergency braking, there is no risk of a locked wheel leading to a fall.
The low entry on our balance bikes makes it easy to get on and off, which gives beginners in particular a high level of safety and confidence in the vehicle and their own abilities. This means that learning success is achieved more quickly and the fun of exercise is increased.
The ‘banana saddle’ specially developed for our balance bikes gives children a secure hold and supports their running movements. As the thrust impulse can only be transmitted via the saddle on a balance bike, a completely different shape is required here than on a bicycle to give the child safety and good control of the vehicle.

Measuring inner leg length in three steps
But how can you measure your child's inner leg length? Quite simply:
- Your child stands with its back against a wall wearing shoes.
- Clamp a book between its legs with the horizontal upper edge at the crotch.
- Now you can measure the distance from the top edge of the book to the floor with a tape measure or folding rule.
The measured value in centimetres is the inner leg length or crotch height. You can now use it to determine the right size for your child's balance bike or bicycle on our website.
